Dubai has recently been in the news as a place that is strict with laws and behavior. For example a British couple on vacation was recently found guilty of having sex on the beach and were sentenced to 3 months in jail. Dubai's punishments don't seem to be as harsh as some middle eastern countries, but being one of the wealthiest nations on this planet, its not the place for tourists to mess around. Watch the Dubai's dos and dont's on this video and be careful if you ever travel over there.

When I first read this post I didnt quite expect the strictness of Dubai to be at such a level as it appeares to be in the video...When the reporter claimed that acts such as kissing etc were not allowed to be displayed in the public of Dubai, I was actually quite suprised. I understand that having sex on the beaches is inapropriate and not appreciated...but couples not being allowed to kiss eachother or show any affection is absurd in my opinion. The video gave lots of other interesting facts...but yes I agree when traveling to Dubai be extremely cautious of your actions.
